Description

This cake is pure indulgence! Layers of rich chocolate cake and creamy peanut butter filling, topped with a smooth ganache, make for a slice of heaven.


Ingredients

  • 1 box Chocolate Cake Mix, prepared
  • 1 cup Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 8 oz Dark Chocolate, chopped
  • ½ cup Crushed Peanuts
  • Chocolate Bars or Peanut Butter Cups, for garnish

Instructions

 

  1. Prepare chocolate cake mix and bake as directed. Cool completely.
  2. Mix cream cheese, peanut butter, and powdered sugar until creamy.
  3. Layer the peanut butter filling between two cake layers.
  4. Heat heavy cream and pour over dark chocolate. Stir until smooth.
  5. Pour ganache over the cake, letting it drip down.
  6. Garnish with crushed peanuts and chocolate bars or peanut butter cups.
  7. Chill for 1 hour, then slice and enjoy!

Notes

For clean slices, use a hot knife. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
