Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 can Rotel (10 oz), drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 package crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg, beaten (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, then drain excess grease.
  3. Combine cooked sausage with cream cheese and drained Rotel.
  4. Unroll crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  5. Add 1-2 tablespoons of filling to the wide end of each triangle and roll up.
  6. Brush with egg wash, if desired.
  7. Bake on a lined baking sheet for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.
